Supporting Our Seniors: A Day of Resources, Smiles, and Community
This week, I had the honor of joining Congresswoman April McClain Delaney at her Seniors Outreach Workshop, a powerful event dedicated to connecting our vibrant senior community with the resources and support they deserve.
Held right here in Montgomery County, the workshop brought together organizations and advocates committed to uplifting older adults--ensuring that no senior is left behind when it comes to healthcare, community engagement, and well-being.
One highlight of the day was partnering with @SmilesOnWings, an incredible organization dedicated to expanding access to dental care. Together, we worked to ensure that seniors in MoCo have the support they need to maintain a healthy smile--because oral health is essential at every age.
It’s always inspiring to stand alongside leaders who prioritize the needs of our aging population. Events like these are a reminder of what’s possible when we come together in service and solidarity.
