Scholarships: Smiles on Wings seeks to promote local self-reliance over the long term, empowering those youth who dream of becoming healthcare providers and educators to gain access to the higher education that enables and insures long-term continuation of healthcare and education in their towns. Smiles on Wings funds scholarships for young women to pursue degrees in these fields. The skills and knowledge these students gain enable them to provide long term continuation of services in their home villages.

School Lunch Program: Good nutrition is essential for learning. Smiles on Wings’ supplemental school lunch program provides daily lunches for over 500 children. SOW also provides school uniforms, shoes, and raincoats to help keep the children warm, healthy, and in school.

Water Filters: Smiles on Wings has engineered a sustainable water delivery system bringing water from the high mountains directly to the villages and schools in which they work with. This provides clean filtered water for drinking, cooking, cleaning and washing.

Construction and Community Development: SOW involves itself in the communities of Thailand by engaging in activities ranging from aiding in building projects to providing needed goods. In doing so SOW does more than provide temporary support to remote villages. It establishes lasting relationships which contribute to the constant betterment of those that Smiles on Wings seeks to help.
