Volunteer opportunities are available for dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants or anyone interested in helping. Training will be provided for non-dental volunteers.*

Volunteering for Smiles on Wings is an incredible experience. You will get to see different sides of Thailand and fully immerse yourself in the culture. Many of the villages SOW works at are rarely seen by outsiders. The experience is rewarding, eye opening and often life changing.

*Expenses for the trip are paid by volunteers– part of the expenses may be tax-deductible. Please consult your accountant for information.

Smiles on Wings missions rely on volunteer participation from individuals within the dental/medical community and beyond.
The range of skills these participants have to offer widen the scope of care.
Their skills allow us to bring unique types of care to these remote villages, where they may never get to see a specialist.
In the past Smiles on Wings teams have consisted of general dentists, family physicians, oral surgeons, dental assistants.
